The crystal structures of most metals include the following three: body-centered cubic lattice (BCC), face-centered cubic lattice (FCC), and hexagonal hexagonal (HCP). Adam Shaw said that the MgSc mixture belongs to the BCC form, showing extraordinary durability and excellent performance. At the same time, research groups at the University of New South Wales in Australia, which collaborated with Harvey Mud College, have made new progress. They discovered another rare-earth metal, ruthenium, that helps stabilize the BCC form of MgSc alloys.
